Here’s how the signature ceremony process works:

  • The initial chat

    After you submit an enquiry on my website, I’ll reach out to via email to set up a quick, no-obligation video call. Here’s where you can share your wedding ideas, see how we gel, and decide if I am the right marriage celebrant for your day.

  • Before the wedding

    We start with a questionnaire to capture how you two tick. Next, you share your vows, venue, must-haves, and witness details. Then, I write a ceremony script that sounds genuinely like both of you and your love story.

  • 4–6 weeks before

    First draft review: I send over the initial draft of your wedding ceremony script.

    Fine-tuning: We tweak the wording together until the script feels spot-on.

  • 2–3 weeks before

    Final check-in: We jump on a video call and run through timings, names, vows, and double-check every detail so there are zero surprises.

    (Need me there for an in-person rehearsal? Easy! We can absolutely add that on.)

  • Wedding day

    I show up early, meet you both and guide you through the moment. The official bit: You say your vows, sign the legal marriage papers, and walk away officially married.oes here

  • A couple of days later

    Marriage registration: I lodge your signed legal documentation with Births, Deaths and Marriages (BDM NZ) so your marriage is formally registered.

  • After booking, you will each fill out a fun, separate questionnaire.

    This gives me all the details, funny memories, and sweet insights from both of your perspectives so I can craft a completely original script tailored entirely to you.

  • We’ll always run through the final details together on a video call before the big day.

    If you’d like an optional, on-site rehearsal to physically walk through everything at your venue, we can easily add that on.
